Working with Community Organisations

We offer advice and support to community services, such as clubs, leisure providers, retailers, charities, social enterprises and public and private sector companies, to enable them to be as inclusive as possible, and to focus on providing activities and services that address local needs. We also work within communities to develop solutions to local issues, often forming partnerships between sector specialists and providers.

How can we help?

We can:

  • Advise and support you with inclusive practice

  • Make connections within communities to facilitate new/enhanced provision and services for local people

  • Advise and support you with the creation of new services and opportunities for work/volunteering

  • Carry out research on your behalf about community services, opportunities, partnerships, funding and compliance

How we work

When you get in touch, we will have an initial phone call about what you want to achieve and how we can help. We will then arrange a meeting to discuss your requirements in detail. We will then put a detailed plan together with full costs.

Payments

You will pay an hourly rate for each hour/part hour, which will vary depending on the support you require. Details will be provided after an initial meeting. You will be invoiced for our services in stages, which will be agreed on before any work is done. We are often able to partner together to get this activity grant funded so do talk to us if funding is an issue.

Why do we want to help?

We want to work with you simply because we are passionate about communities. Our two founders have had long careers working with local communities, disability charities and social enterprises. They have lived experience of raising disabled children, supporting dementia, mental health issues and navigating the often complex social care and benefits systems.

We want to help local people to solve local issues by working together. With our long histories in charities, social enterprises, parish councils, patient participation groups, care communities, SEN Support, and voluntary, community and faith sector support we have an extensive understanding of how to get things done - and we do!
